BOOK SHARK DIVE

After booking your dive, please sign waiver of liability using the link below for each participant (must be completed prior to boarding vessel.)

SIGN WAIVER OF LIABILITY (REQUIRED FOR EACH PARTICIPANT)
  • Maximum of 6 people per trip.
  • Video package is per person, not per group.
  • Charter is 3-3.5 hours in duration and leaves from 18577 SE Federal Hwy, Jupiter, FL 33469 (PARKING is $5 if attendant is present)
  • Available time slots: 7am-10am | 11am-2pm | 3pm -6pm
  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled dive.
  • Must be 13 years of age (Legal parent / guardian must be present to sign waiver at dock prior to departure), Under 16 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
  • Gratuity to thank your dive boat crew is appreciated. You’ll find them to be fantastic.
  • When in the water we require your hands be free of small cameras for safety (No cell phones, small action cameras or Selfie Sticks permitted in your hands)
  • Large dome port and professional cameras in underwater housings are permitted.
  • Action Cameras may be affixed to your body, but not in your hands.

SWIMMING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, SNORKELING EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED.

TRIP CANCELLATIONS ARE COMMON DUE TO UNFORESEEN WEATHER SITUATIONS, PLEASE OPT FOR FLIGHT/HOTEL/TRIP INSURANCE POSSIBLE.

RESCHEDULES / REFUNDS ARE ONLY ISSUED FOR TRIP CANCELLATIONS DUE TO INCLIMATE UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITIONS, OR CANCELLATIONS DUE TO INTERNAL OPERATION ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE.

*We are at the mercy of adverse conditions including rough seas, which can cause sea-sickness. Due to the high demand for bookings and limited number of spots available, refunds are not issued for cancellations of any kind. A Reschedule can be arranged if we are given 2 weeks notice, if no reschedule options are available we can keep your dive as a credit. Additionally, sea sickness is common and is not applicable for refunds. We usually encounter multiple sharks during every trip, but can’t guarantee sharks on every dive, our team will work tirelessly to ensure the best results at our aggregation locations, customers should be aware that these are wild animals. Winds, currents, and other contingencies may present rare challenges. In the rare event of no sharks, we will issue you a free dive credit / reschedule option.

  • Shark Safari trips will depart from Jupiter Pointe Marina (18577 SE Federal Hwy, Jupiter, FL 33469). The Shark Safari vessel will be parked at our private dock in the gravel lot just north of the Marina / Bluepointe restaurant. Next to the Hotel / Paddle Board Rentals – $5 Parking fee may be collected if attendant is present.
  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

All participants must be 13 years of age or older, unless cleared by management. If you are younger than 18 you must fill out our parental consent form prior to boarding on your excursion.

Things to think about/bring:

All essential gear is provided. You are welcome to bring your own mask, fins, snorkel, or wetsuit for best function and comfort.

  • Towel
  • Reef Safe Sunscreen
  • Seasickness Medication – Take at least an hour before departure. (The night prior is recommended.)
  • Sunglasses
  • Dry Clothes
  • We do provide Rash Guards to protect from potential jellyfish. If you are susceptible to the cold we have wetsuits. (Not typically needed in the summer months.)
  • Our vessel does not have a restroom. Facilities are available at Jupiter Pointe Marina for your use.

  • Although in-water experience is preferred, no certifications are necessary. The Shark Safari team is happy to teach you everything you need to ensure a comfortable experience in the water.
  • Swimming experience is required, snorkeling experience is highly recommended prior to booking.
  • 13 years of age or older. (unless cleared by management)
  • Do not book a dive if you are experiencing any current medical conditions that could limit your ability to swim, climb a ladder, support your own weight, or do cardiovascular activity in the open ocean. (Examples of such include but are not limited to: heart conditions, vertigo, pregnancy, inability to hold breathe, obesity)

Each charter lasts about 3 hours with up to 2 hours of time in the water.

What Sharks can I expect to see?2022-06-08T00:28:01+00:00

The most common Shark we encounter along the Jupiter coastline consist of but are not limited to : Bull, Sandbar, Silky, Dusky, Hammerheads, Tigers, Reef, Spinners, and Lemon Sharks. However, Jupiter is also home to a wide variety of wildlife. We frequently encounter a wide variety of Sea Turtles, Dolphins, and Fish.

Can I take pictures/video?2022-05-26T02:01:08+00:00

The Shark Safari team allows GoPro/Action Camera devices, but they are not allowed to be directly in your hand, and please no selfie sticks for your safety and the experience of others. (please use chest mount, or similar) Sharks have the innate ability to track and locate electrical impulses in the water. Due to the handheld nature of these small cameras, it is not safe to have them firmly grasped in your hands. The Shark Safari team is not responsible for lost possessions and cannot retrieve equipment due to the extreme depths of the ocean floor. We welcome all professional cameras. If you possess professional grade dome equipment and wish to bring said equipment on a dive.

We provide full documentation of each trip through the eyes of our world renowned videographers. If you wish to purchase your very own professional grade excursion photo or video, please select the option when booking.

Required Gear ( Fins, Gloves, Mask & Snorkel, and Wetsuit / Rashguard ) are provided free of charge for all patrons. However, if available we recommend bringing your own gear for maximum comfort and efficiency.

What happens if my excursion is cancelled due to weather?2022-05-26T02:01:34+00:00

Our number one priority is always the safety of our guests. If for any reason a charter must be cancelled or postponed due to rough seas or in-climate weather, we are committed to getting you back on the water with us as quickly as possible. We are happy to reschedule your trip at your earliest convenience. If you are unable to reschedule, we will refund the full amount of your excursion.

IMPORTANT HEALTH ADVISORY

If you are experiencing any current medical conditions that could limit your ability to swim, climb a ladder, support your own weight, or do cardiovascular activity in the open ocean, please notify us at contact@sharkaddictsdiving.com. Your safety is our number one concern. (Examples of such include but are not limited to: heart conditions, vertigo, pregnancy, inability to hold breathe, obesity) If you are over 240lbs you must notify us for your safety and that of the crew. For some, the environment experienced can be challenging and exhausting. If in water rescue is necessary, our crew must be able to transport you from the water to the boat without issue. Please communicate with our crew if you have any concerns from a physician. Failure to notify the crew of weight related complications will lead to boarding being denied.
